TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience. They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice. What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareAvailable: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives. What You PayThree account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for beginners.Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.Execution SpeedThe speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.SafetyHere is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.Welcome OfferTab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit. The complete breakdown, including all the details before you click here open an account, is at read more tradetheday.com.
